What a wild week. I don’t consider myself an alarmist, and typically don’t live my life in fear, but it seems the Coronavirus has caused a lot of uncertainty over the past several days. For the past 48 hours, TJ + I conducted relatively exhaustive research on the epidemic (in particular we listened to an infectious disease researcher provide relative and useful information regarding Coronavirus….). We had booked an upcoming trip to Hawaii for this coming Monday and needed to make some (quick) decisions.

After chatting about all the information we had taken in, we opted to postpone our trip. And while it wasn’t an easy decision, it was the responsible one for our family, and the community at large…..

And, since the news has been pretty heavy lately, lightening things up here a bit and sharing some of my favorite products from the past month… many included in my capsule wardrobe post… others items that I’ve found to be helpful and useful in my daily life….

Saying my prayers that you all stay safe and healthy. Have a good weekend!

FASHION

Mesh Pullover: Included this one in my March Capsule wardrobe and it’s on regular rotation over here. I love a good open knit, and this one is so well made… and fits perfectly. It’s a great spring/summer staple. I went up one size.

Everlane Court Sneakers: I’m always a sucker for a good pair of sneakers, and this Everlane pair is great! They’re cushioned on the inside, comfortable enough for all day wear, and they come in multiple color combinations. I love that they go with everything effortlessly.

AGOLDE Ribbed Tank: I bought the white tank as a “I’ll try and see” purchase. When I received it I immediately started wearing it, so I knew it was going to be a great staple for the warmer months, and to layer under pieces in these cooler spring temps. It’s a thicker, ribbed material, but still very stretchy. I feel as if the high neckline makes it super chic as well. I ended up purchasing the black as well and both have been worn regularly. Someone also sent me this tank from Target as an alternative.

Cream Hoodie: I bought this for my trip to NY to wear on the plane, and while I didn’t actually wear it on the plane, I wore it for a morning run and have worn it since for errands with leggings + jeans for a super casual look. It’s also perfect for just lounging around. It’s incredibly soft on the inside, with a slightly cropped cut, which I love.

Alo 2-in-1 Leggings: To say I’m obsessed with these would be an understatement. I wear them as often as possible… for morning runs, spin classes, walks, etc… I’m obsessed with the shorts + legging combo, and they’re very friendly for my short legs, which is always an added bonus. They’re the only workout leggings I’ve purchased so far this year and they’re for sure gotten their cost per wear.

Form Bag: I frequently get asked for a great, non designer, every day bag… something that will fit the essentials easily, while still being chic. This bag is perfect. It’s Italian leather, and so functional. I can easily fit my computer, planner, a snack, cosmetics case, and wallet/sunglasses/cellphone. When I’m with the girls I can easily fit in a couple of snacks, a pouch with all of Camille’s essentials, and my essentials as well. You can wear it crossbody or on the shoulder.

BDG Slim Straight Leggings: I was looking for a pair of jeans that were a cross between black + a light grey… and these fit the bill perfectly. I had to cut them hem, but other than that they’re great. No stretch, so I do recommend sizing up one!

Cropped Basic White Tee: Love this tee. So soft, and looks so cute with anything high waisted, without showing the belly. It’s easy to lounge in… I’ve worn it traveling, lounging, and out and about.

BEAUTY

Necessaire Body Exfoliator: I started using this product several weeks ago and have noticed a huge change in the feel of my skin. It’s much softer and feels so smooth. I use it twice a week and am hooked.

At Home Gel Remover: So, I hate getting gel nails mainly because I don’t like having to go in to get it removed. I found these around the holidays and have had such great success with them. I follow the exact directions on the box and they easily remover the gel from my nails. No damage either!

Equilibria CBD Oil + Tablets: I wrote an entire post on these products here, but I love them. They have been so helpful in helping me with my sleep… falling + stating asleep, and I can’t recommend them more. Shannon for 15% off.

Jane Iredale Eyebrow Pencil: Eyebrows are my achilles hill. My least favorite part of my morning makeup routine. Yet this eyebrow pencil has been making it significantly easier. Plus it’s considered a clean/non-toxic makeup line. Huge fan.

HOME + TRAVEL

Woven Basket: In my attempts to organize life in 2020, I purchased this beautiful woven basket for the girls’ toys that are in our common living area. It’s aesthetically pleasing, and deep enough to hold a significant amount of toys.

Hot Tools Travel Carrier: Whenever we travel we always have early morning flights… and I have to carry my hot tools so they don’t burn anything in my suitcase. I bought this travel carrier for my last trip and it works so well… fits both my curling iron + straightening iron easily.
