(Beautiful views from Brooklyn….)

Arriving home Friday afternoon, Harper came bounding out of the house, open arms, + yelling “momma!” Her enthusiasm for anything + everything she does is immensely contagious, and it’s in the moments like that when I’m readily reminded of how grateful I am that I get to be her (and of course, Camille’s) mom….

Given that yesterday was International Women’s Day yesterday one of my favorite quotes came to mind…

“And one day she discovered that she was fierce, and strong, and full of fire. And that not even she could hold herself back because her passion burned brighter than her fears.”

It encapsulates my hopes for both of my little ladies… that they will always know that they can do anything, be anything, and that they have a community of women surrounding them that will support + lift them up daily.

So, as we enter into the week ahead, I do so feeling proud to be their mom + lucky to have strong + wonderful women who I call friends + family who support me daily. Have a good one friends!

lululemon has some super cute new spring arrivals…. loving these biker shorts (in teal) with the matching sports bra, as well as this cropped workout tee + half-zip (I almost bought this when I was in NY for my morning run but didn’t think it would keep this whimpy Californian warm enough in 30 degree temps….

The items I ended up loving from the Shopbop sale (had to send back a few items because they just didn’t work) include these nude heels (very comfortable), chain necklace, flat gold necklace, and this white breezy cover-up (trying to see if I can make it work with a nude fitted bodycon underneath it for happy hour (on vacation).

For our upcoming Hawaii trip I bought Harper this ruffle tired dress, leopard bathing suit, and these super soft chambray shorts. For Camille I got her this leopard swimsuit, bubble short, and these little bodysuits.

I got these boyfriend distressed jeans last week…. they fit super well + can’t wait to wear them this summer with sandals + slides…. a bodysuit or a cute sweater.

In attempts to be more organized around the house, I bought this woven basket for all the girl’s toys that are out in our common living area. I love it… aesthetically pleasing + big enough to hold most of the toys (I have another straw basket next to it).

A few other home items I have my eye on include these cute throw pillows, tassel throw blanket, hanging rattan plant basket, rattan lanterns for outside, + this large jute rug to layer underneath our living room rug (it’s too small for the space but I want to keep it).
