As I mentioned in my denim post on Tuesday, there were a few “clothing” items I missed when I was pregnant last fall. Bodysuits being one of them. Don’t get me wrong. I tried. I failed. I put them out of my mind for nine months. Now that I can zip up a pair of jeans + wear a bodysuit, I’m all about the easy combo for this fall season.
I’m all about the look for a date night out or casual every day look. Given that, I decided to go in search of a few good ones for this fall season. I started my search at Nordstrom + ended up finding four amazing bodysuits from their exclusive Leith brand, which is on trend and always has the best pieces for a night out or everyday style. I’m loving this super soft dolman sleeve ribbed cardigan + this white dolman sleeve sweater… + I personally picked up this soft fringe cardigan as an elevated everyday essential from their BP line. All the cardigans + bodysuits easily mix and match together with this light wash pair of denim to create an effortless, pulled together, look perfect for any occasion…. now onto the bodysuits….
Long Sleeve Snakeskin Bodysuit: The material of this bodysuit is amazing. Feels silky on the body with the perfect amount of stretch. The v-neck isn’t super low, but incredibly flattering. And while I love florals for fall, I’m into the snakeskin trend. Neutral, not too over-the-top, and just the right amount of something extra for a night out…
Long Sleeve Black Bodysuit: I’m guilty of buying things in pairs when I love something… hence the double purchase of this bodysuit. One in a statement making print and then this basic black color. I feel as if it’s a wonderful staple to have in any fall wardrobe. Layer it effortlessly under a blazer, leather jacket, or cardigan for fall… and wear it day or night. Same fit + feel as the snakeskin print.
Blush Sweater Bodysuit: (also comes in black) This is an excellent option for fall… it’s basically a sweater bodysuit… super soft + cozy. The square neckline is flattering as well. The fit is a little looser than the other three bodysuits. I also love the idea of pairing it with joggers with a super laidback, casual, feel.
Rust Bodysuit: (white + black colors too) I bought this back in August as a great summer to fall transitional piece. The same amazing fit + material as the long sleeve bodysuits featured here. It can easy transition with a cardigan, blazer, or suede jacket. If you’re between sizes on this one, I recommend sizing up.
What’s your take on the bodysuit trend? For it? Willing to give it a try???
