(The last sunset from our trip….)
We spent the first part of the weekend traveling home from Hawaii and then the remainder was spent transitioning back into real life. I always find this transition a little difficult. When you’ve disconnected for so long, getting back into the swing of things can be difficult sometimes. For me it was a combination of time change (especially with a toddler), some weird messages on instagram (#trolls), and a general feeling of being behind…
As I reflected on these feelings, I started to make a list of all that I was grateful for. Some obvious blessings (a new little daughter on the way, announcement/first trimester post here) and other, smaller, blessings like the crisp rainy weather we were receiving. And as I did so, I began to feel better. Funny how that works…. So, as we head into the week ahead I do so knowing that gratitude is a wonderful antidote to any negative feelings that might come my way. Have a wonderful week friends!xx
Annnnd, I’m partnering with a few of my favorite mommas, who are also pregnant, in a new blog series on motherhood and pregnancy. I’ve known these beautiful women for several years, and they’re some of my favorites. Be sure to check them out at the end of this post!

As nice as it was to take a break from working out (we did long walks, and one long hike), I’m looking forward to getting back into a routine. I’ve been doing light cardio and Tone It Up Prenatal workouts and have been loving them! Also filled the refrigerator with all our favorites to get back into a clean eating routine….
American Eagle has some adorable new fall arrivals… perfect for no belly or a growing belly… like this gorgeous floral midi dress, v-neck shift dress (loving the camel + mauve colors), basic henley in rust, and this henley hooded pullover.
Abercrombie also has great new arrivals… like this plaid wool-blend coat (seriously love this), hooded open front cardigan (mauve color), and this waffle slim-fit henley.
A few other beautiful fall items include this plaid top (in winter white/sesame), this puffer jacket with faux fur hood, ribbed duster cardigan, and this long sleeve ruffle tee.
My favorite plush slippers now come in such a beautiful mauve color (be sure to size up one).
A few loungewear favorites include this blush pullover, split hem sweater, soft ribbed wrap top, beautiful chenille duster cardigan, and this tie ribbed sweater (looks so so soft).
And, be sure to check out these beautiful momma’s that I mentioned above (starting from top left)….
