Remember elementary school when stickers and sparkles and jewels were the best addition to practically anything? When I reflect on my childhood, I had sparkle in literally everything-my headbands, lunch boxes, costumes, macaroni plates, Mother’s Day cards, etc. So what’s a girl to do when she’s [almost] all grown up and is supposed to have a mature, sophisticated style? Well, one way to do it is to add sparkle and glitz to an outfit without looking like a bottle of glitter exploded on you (sometimes hard to resist the temptation, I’ll admit!) That’s why I (and Shannon) love this Chambray blouse-it reminds us of those arts and crafts days of puff painting and bedazzling, while still remaining casual, feminine and refined. The chambray is a classic piece that is so versatile (it can also been seen here, dressed up!), so adding a little glitz to this piece makes us just plain giddy!
