As much as I love a white top, I’m a sucker for an all black ensemble. For starters, as a new mom, it hides pretty much anything…. so Harper can flap her hands as much as she wants during her pumpkin, apple, + carrot lunch. I also find that I reach for the one-two all black punch when I’m looking for something minimalistic, chic, and comfortable. Since pretty much anything goes with black, I typically have my go-to accessories to make it unique. For the warmer summer months, I’m loving a straw fedora, simple straw tote, and a clean summer slide. I typically opt for simple gold accessories… and then I’m ready to head out the door. It’s a simple process really, one that takes less than 10 minutes… and that’s about all the time I have to get dressed these days, so this formula is a go-to!
Some of my recent favorite jewelry pieces to dress up a monochromatic outfit include this Y-Necklace (so gorgeous with a v-neck or button front blouse), this criss-cross gold bangle, and this wrist cuff with a gorgeous gem stone (this one is pretty too).
