I’m never quite sure how I feel about August. I kind of view it as this odd transitional month. When I was in school, I always viewed it as my last month of summer. Yet, now I see it as a transition. The temperatures are still warm (if not scorching), the nights are still long, and there is plenty of time to plan a summer getaway…. yet, it’s also the last month before we enter into fall… one of my favorite seasons. Football season commences this month (I actually really love Sunday football… #BearsFan), I start to pin fall recipes over on Pinterest…. all while continuing to wear my favorite cut-offs and tanks (see what I mean about transitional?).
