Boho Feels

itsy bitsy indulgences

I love combining opposites. Sweet and salty for a good trail mix. Hot and cold for an iced chai tea latte.  Crunchy and soft from peanut butter M&Ms (and yes…. I realize all of those examples were food…. hmmm….). Yet, I especially love contrasts when I am getting dressed. I find that it tends to create just the right amount of balance. My go to night-out outfit 99% of the time is a pair of fitted distressed skinnies with an über feminine flowing top. Casual looks are no exception. For daytime, I simply transfer my love for distressed denim skinnies to cut-offs for the warmer temps… and pair them with a flowing boho top to create that sweet and edgy vibe. Tossing on these sweet scalloped flats, with the raw hem of the shorts, is like icing on the cake for me (if we’re sticking with the food examples…). Either way, when it comes to weekend exploring, this look is one that I will wear again and again… it’s roomy and allows for those indulgent meals…. and comfortable enough to spend the entire day in…. and that’s all it takes for me!
