35+ Ways I’ve Worn My Adidas Samba Sneakers

I was at a birthday party for a friend of Harper’s yesterday and I was chatting with the mom about Adidas Samba sneakers. She was asking me if I thought they were comfortable, how they fit, and where the best place to purchase them was. I mentioned that I found them to be very comfortable, definitely not as comfortable as the New Balance 327 sneakers though, and that at first the all leather tongue rubbed against the top of my foot (but switching to this sock helped), and that that is no longer an issue.

Here’s the deal with the Adidas Samba sneakers that are literally every where. I held out for a bit, but now I’m a pretty big fan of them. For starters, the Adidas Sambas have a sleek design and a low profile, which makes them great with so many different pants because they don’t appear clunky (as the NB 327 sneakers can sometimes with a trouser). The Sambas come in a plethora of different color combos, and once you get the correct sizing down it’s not as big of a mystery. So here’s the sizing scoop:

For me, I find the Adidas Samba sneakers to run a 1/2 size too big. I am a true 6.5 and purchase a 6 when they are in women’s sizing.

If the style I am looking at is in men’s sizing, I purchase a 4.5 (I would typically be a 5 in men’s).

All of that to say, I told the mom that I highly recommend them, and that’s what I am trying to relay here (through a rather long drawn out explantation, haha).
