Never before have I felt as if I was reliving my childhood summer than I did this weekend watching our girls live their best life. From a Friday BBQ with friends, that included a night swim and outdoor movie night, to fun with family and cousins at a casual backyard BBQ… I saw them loving life and it reminded me of my childhood… and sort of brought that joy back to me all over again.

There is something to be said about those simple childhood summers… and now that my girls are older and able to stretch limits a bit more… I’ve found myself living vicariously through them, and re-experiencing the magic of summer as a child.

All of that to say, it was a fun and full weekend, and once everyone’s heads hit the pillow Sunday night it was lights out….
