After Harper started school, I learned early on that she wasn’t too keen on the “What did you do today,” question. I would typically get answers like “I played,’ (100% true, haha) or “I can’t remember.” What would happen instead is that I would be doing something random (maybe on my computer, or cooking dinner, etc…) and she’d approach me and say “I want to tell you something mommy…” and then she’d reveal bits and pieces about her day, or her routines at school. And while I’d love a play by play of her day at school, I honor how she wants to provide me with this information…
So last night, as we were eating dinner, she told me that on Monday mornings her teacher asks them how their weekend was. The kiddos can either give two thumbs up, one thumb up, or a thumbs down. I asked Harper what she would give this weekend and she showed me two thumbs up with a big smile…
And I’d have to concur with her. While we didn’t do much (do we ever?? haha), it was still a two thumbs up kind of weekend. I hope you all had a good one as well!

The washable silk henley I featured in this post just came in stock… such a great piece to layer under a blazer for work, or wear with a cardigan for a casual look….
I also love this oversized ribbed half zip for fall…
I found a bunch of super cute, sustainably made, items under $50 for fall which would make wonderful staples….
this floral top would be great for a date night…
this ribbed long sleeve tee is a great layering option….
a fatigue jacket is an excellent lightweight layering piece….
and this ribbed seamless top is a good basic….
These shearling slide sandals are 40% off… if you live somewhere with a warmer fall climate, these are a great option (they run large so I recommend sizing down a 1/2 size)!

Continuing to look for pieces for our trip to Park City in several weeks and this sherpa half zip is on my wishlist…
