Weekend Recap || L A Z Y

Well, we went into the weekend with relatively lazy intentions and that’s just what we did. After several active weekends in a row, it was a nice shift to just let the day evolve. We got some lingering “to-do” items completed around the house, snuck in a fun little date night (well, more like date “happy hour”), headed to church Sunday morning, and then relaxed the rest of the rainy Sunday afternoon….

And while lazy weekends/days typically make me slightly anxious thinking about everything that should be getting done, it was a nice, and necessary, change.

So, here’s to tackling the week ahead after a relatively restful weekend! Have a good one friends!

(All black for a Friday spent outside with the girls… jeans, pullover both taken from February capsule)

(Pattern mixing at it’s finest… little miss’ Friday morning outfit…. shoes)

(Comfies on, bubbly poured for a Friday night in… sweater, joggers, slippers)

(Date night at Nobu Sushi… great happy hour + ambiance is beautiful…. crop, leather jacket, jeans, shoes)

(A rainy Sunday morning that we were very unprepared for…. jeans, bodysuit, cardigan (similar), shoes)

(Lazy rainy Sunday afternoon with my little loves… my sweatshirt)
_________

The dinner menu for this week includes this lentil soup… since it’s supposed to be chilly here this week….

If you’re looking for some Valentine’s Day gift ideas for your SO TJ loves these joggers + these joggers (wears both very regularly), half-zip workout pullover, cashmere v-neck sweater (he has it in two colors), slim fit henley top, + second skin boxers.

Looking ahead to spring and there are a few items I’ve added to my “wish-list” as I consider what would be best to add to my wardrobe:

I love my regular AGolde cut-offs (I’ve had the same pair for 3 seasons) and I’m really liking the longer inseam of these cut-offs… something a little different than the traditional short….

This basic tee dress would be super versatile and easy to dress up and down with simple accessory changes….

This white cropped fleece sweatshirt is the same as my go-to black pullover + I think the lighter shade would be great for layering this spring…

These nude heels would be an excellent choice for a night out….

I was recently asked about classic pieces from Free People, that won’t last one season. These are the items that I personally own + love that I’ve had for a couple of years: this ivory lace camisole, embroidered dress, soft grey oversized sweater, champagne colored v-neck cashmere sweater, oversized white long sleeve v-neck top (I actually bought this when I was pregnant), and this white ruffle sleeve top.

I bought a few cute clothing items for the girls…. these indoor/outdoor slippers, leopard print dress, and tie-dye tee for Harper. For Camille I got her this leopard print smocked jumpsuit, tie-dye bodysuit, and these stripe joggers pants.
