I always consider it a good weekend when it’s Sunday at 7:45pm and I’m still in my swimsuit + just hopping in the shower. It was a weekend filled with pool time, good eats, and beautiful summer weather. And despite some early morning wake-ups from our teething little babe, it was relatively restful.

As I look to the week ahead, I decided to put together a simple list of small things I’m going to do to show kindness to myself. I’ve always felt that it’s important to be diligent in taking care of one’s self… you can’t pour from an empty bucket… and being intentional has always been helpful for me….

With that being said, my intentions for self care this week are as follows:

– Take a calming bath one evening after the girls go down. I have CBD bath bombs that make baths feel so luxurious.
– Set up a small block of time to catch up with some of my best girlfriends that I haven’t chatted with in a while
– Take time to read my daily devotional (I’ve been so bad with it lately)
– Use my facial steamer + favorite detox mask

They’re simply little gestures to myself, maybe 20 minutes max, but I always feel so much better after I take a little time for myself. I hope you’ll join me in doing the same this week!
