{Happy hour s’mores…. um, yes please!}
As a child, I have so many fond memories of playing in the snow at my family’s cabin in the local mountains. Naturally when Harper was born, I knew it was a memory I wanted to create with her as well. So, when I was writing this post on cold weather destinations, I immediately fell in love with Park City. I envisioned blankets of snow covering the ground, making s’mores by the fire pit, and playing in the snow with little miss. And while the snow wasn’t necessarily covering the ground (okay, there were large patches here and there) it was certainly a trip full of memories and one I will never forget. I feel profoundly blessed that we were able to take this trip…. and while we didn’t do anything big, it was nice to just relax, without an agenda, just the three of us.
As we go into this week of Thanksgiving I am reminded of all the blessings surrounding me. I easily get caught up in all the pit falls that I think are common to everyone…. comparison (pretty much the thief of any joy) and frustration when things don’t go as planned. And while I believe thanks should be given all throughout the year, I do feel it more intensely this week. That being said, TJ and I are going into this week looking for small ways to give back the blessings we have been given. With all that being said, I thank you all for your support in this first year journey of motherhood and hope you have a wonderful week ahead!
{The s’mores bar was ah-mazing at The Montage!}

{Would a trip really be complete without a little champagne with my love? (sweater, boots, thermal, beanie, Tj’s Jacket}}
{Such a gorgeous place on Earth}
{Pizza delivered…. with a little one, this is how we roll (pizza from Park City Pizza Co.}
{This girl loved the snow…. was mesmerized by it!}
{We made do with what little snow there was… and got in our Christmas card photo!}
{A little Bailey’s + Hot Coco to end the trip.}

I honestly can’t believe that Thanksgiving is in three short days. If you’re looking for a delicious breakfast for that morning, we typically make these cinnamon rolls on every winter holiday! They’re definitely an indulgences…. but, stay tuned this week as I’ll be sharing a dairy free chia seed pudding recipe.
As we approach the season of festivities, I have a few items that I am looking at for some fun events we have. I love this red off the shoulder top, velvet boxed top, red tunic dress, and velvet cami. I also love these coated skinny jeans and think that they go well with any festive top (especially when paired with an amazing pair of heels). I feel as if all these pieces can be worn long after the holidays as well, which is always important to me!
I am also still loving the lace up trend, particularly when it’s on cozy sweaters. I think they are perfect for everyday life, but the detailing allows them to be dressed up as well. I’m currently loving this forest green one, this navy ribbed option, a cream pull over, and this lightweight option that comes in cream and olive green. I’m also loving sweater dresses (usually paired with sneakers) as a casual options. My current favorites include this oversized grey turtleneck option (just purchased it) and this black v-neck option which is similar to one I purchased last year. A few other everyday basics that I think are pretty great include this insulated bomber jacket, oversized plaid top, slouchy bell sleeved sweater (looks so cozy!), simple henley top (great for layering, or for a mild day), gorgeous v-neck sweater (seriously eyeing this one), and this cable knit hooded sweatshirt (so versatile and comfortable). I also love these slides (and think I’ll be adding them to my Christmas list!).
