Happy New Year everyone! I hope that the past couple of weeks were special… spent making memories + hopefully getting in a little relaxation. We did a lot of nothing over here… played outside with the girls, watched (and re-watched our favorite Christmas movies), and pretty much just let the days unfold. It was a nice break, given the intense year that 2020 was, and I’m little bummed it has all come and gone.
As I sat reflecting on the past year, I ended up stumbling across this quote the day before New Years and it really spoke to me:
“Sometimes our lives have to be completely shaken up, changed, and rearranged to relocate us to the place we’re meant to be.” (Adrianne Hemenway).
With all the rearranging that 2020 did, I’m hoping that this new year ahead *hopefully* brings everyone a little more:
Adventure
Joy
Laughter
Smiles
Hugs
Celebrations
Hand shakes
AND
Hand holding
And while I know 2020 brought it’s own challenges to everyone (some much more challenging than others) I truly hope that, eventually, 2021 is a better year for everyone!
(Took the girls down to the beach for a little salty air + donuts to kick off the Christmas vacation…. pullover, leggings, shoes)
(A little sushi takeout and bubbly…. joggers)
(Decided we’d have an “Ugly Sweater” party for 2 this year… and these sweatshirts seemed particularly fitting (from our favorite Christmas movie)….)
(Had a small Christmas Eve, missing several people, but was very special nonetheless… leggings, pullover, shoes (identical option))
(Christmas morning was so special with these two little cuties… kitchen)
(Soaking in those in between days where there isn’t much to do and you don’t really know what day it is…. joggers, pullover)
(Birthday celebrations… turned 37 this year but thought I was turning 36… Harper and my mom made the cake, with lots of pink sprinkles and we did homemade pizzas… bodysuit, sweatpants)
(Added some color with this cute tie dye mask… love all things from Stoney Clover Lane….)
(Did an at home date night with some Chinese food + Bubbly… waited until the girls went down so we could listen to music and actually taste our food, haha)
(Someday I’ll wear jeans again… just not sure when…. pullover, necklace, charms)
_________
I love this fitted tie dye workout shirt… neutral and a fun piece to add to my workout collection… My morning runs have also been super cold and this lightweight puffer jacket has been great!
I bought these ribbed cashmere socks before Christmas (treated myself) and they’re seriously so soft and warm. I’ve been wearing them around the house non-stop….
I also purchased this half-zip sweater (in heathered autumn) + sweater coat when they were on sale… they’re both great neutrals to add to my wardrobe and I’ll be including them in January’s capsule collection.
If you’re looking for cute loungewear, I love these tie dye joggers + sweatshirt, as well as these ombré joggers + pullover.
The Laundress makes the best non-toxic detergent and laundry care products… I started using this stain remover 2 weeks ago and it’s amazing… removed avocado, oil, and dirt stain!
We always struggle when poaching our eggs, so we found these silicone egg poachers and they have been a major game changer!
