Weekends always feel just a tad too short for us. Just as we fall into a groove of being “off schedule” it’s time to get back into the Monday-Friday rhythms and routines. That being said, we maximized the time we did have this past Saturday and Sunday with a dinner out with friends, a family lunch, some pool time, and then a fun Super Bowl get together at my parent’s house. We enjoyed good food, conversation, and company…

I did listen to Usher’s super bowl mix on my morning run, and if that’s your music genre, it was a good one that I highly recommend (and a fun way to start the week).

Speaking of the week ahead, I’m hoping to have the posts I initially chatted about last week up sometime over the past few days… my go-to denim for spring and a delicious weekend egg bake skillet.

And with that, I hope everyone had a good couple of days off and has a nice start to the week ahead!
