Hawaii Summer 2023 Recap

As I mentioned at the beginning of June (hard to believe it’s the middle now…) we were heading to Hawaii (Maui) to kick off summer vacation with my parents. It was a much anticipated trip, as is any vacation, but knowing my parents were going to be there made it particularly special. And while we had some unexpected bumps along the way (a pretty wild travel day with delays, a canceled flight, and an airport shift… and then TJ coming down with a nasty stomach bug) it didn’t stop us from having a wonderful time in paradise…

We ate at our favorite spots, spent hours in the pool and at the beach, visited the shave ice shack daily, and ended our sun-filled days with sunsets on the beach. Hawaii will always hold a special place in my heart, and this trip just added to it.

Now it’s back to settling into reality and getting caught up on all that happens when you’re off the grid. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far!

(First full day and the weather was absolutely beautiful… spent the day playing in the ocean… swim top (combined with other black bottoms, but these bottoms go with it and I own them), sarong, sandals, tote bag, hat, girl’s suit, girl’s goggles, TJ’s suit)

(Morning walks along the water are my favorite… workout dress, sneakers)

(A favorite restaurant with the entire family, Hula Grill… good drinks + food, and the girls love the Hula lessons… linen dress, TJ’s shirt)

(Another morning, another walk for some tea and beautiful views… shorts, tank)

(Naps on the beach, lots of salt water, and shave ice to round out the day… girl’s suits)

(And of course ending the day watching the sun go down… tank, shorts)
