DIY Series || Front Knotting Your Tee, A Video Tutorial

It’s been a week over here friends… so to say we’re a little happy it’s Friday would be an understatement. Since we live in a condo with shared walls, we discovered a major bug infestation when we arrived home on Monday. Every home remedy we tried seemed to only exacerbate the problem… so after a few sleepless nights of worrying bugs would come into our bed (#Paranoid….) we called an exterminator who told us the problem was manifesting in our neighbor’s unit and due to the shared walls and plumbing was entering ours. Whaaaat??! I am officially praying extra hard for a swift sale of our place!…. All that aside, we have a nice weekend ahead of us and I’m thoroughly looking froward to it, as I hope you are too!

One of my all time favorites ways to switch up a basic tee… or ways to wear it with high waisted bottoms… is with a simply front knot. I’ve received several requests for a video tutorial, and some of my favorite tees to rock the trend with… so I’m bringing all that to you today. I compiled a short + succinct DIY video below that shows you exactly how to accomplish the look…

As for my favorite tops to front knot? Well, I always suggest a top that’s a little on the oversized fit… that way it doesn’t look too tight or cropped. My favorites include this henley tee (seen here), v-neck tee (I ordered one size up since it’s not naturally oversized…), v-neck tank (again, order one size up), this slouchy tee (runs oversized naturally, stick with your regular size), and this raw edge tee in black…. or, just look in your drawers for a tee you already own, and spice it up a bit this weekend with a simple front knot.

Have a wonderful weekend friends! xx
