We’ve been watching the Showtime mini series “Your Honor” and decided to save Sunday evening’s finale for tonight (well, tonight as in Monday….). And since it aired yesterday, I am incredibly tempted to just look up what happened, since I have a very hard time with suspense. It’s complicated… I love it and don’t want to ruin the ending… but it’s also been such a gripping mini series that I almost just want to know what happens so I won’t have a million questions while I watch it. Oh, and if it doesn’t wrap up with a very conclusive ending, then I’ll have a hundred more questions. Anyone else like that? Just me??

Anyway, before I get comfy on the couch and lost in the final episode, I wanted to quickly share several new spring arrivals. I rounded up a few items I’ve recently purchased and/or have my eye on and then gave you a few styling options for each piece. I think it’s hard to visualize how to make a “spring” piece transition, so hopefully it’s somewhat helpful!

SWEATER JUMPSUIT: I bought this is several weeks ago and then the weather decide to go and be all winter like… so I haven’t had a chance to wear it yet, but it’s super comfortable (what I can tell from the several times I tried it on…) and roomy… so great for lounging or just feeling ultra comfortable all day long. A few ways you can wear it:

Sneakers and a leather jacket
Slides and a denim jacket
Sneakers and a long coat + scarf

LINEN TIERED MAXI DRESS: This one might border more on a “summer” piece depending on what “spring” weather is like for you… but I think it’s a great casual throw on and go option… for a day by the pool, happy hour and date nights (when that’s possible…), and backyard get togethers…. You can style it similar to the jumpsuit above….

Sneakers and a leather or suede jacket
Slides and a denim jacket
Slides + a long sweater coat

LOW KEY SLIDE: (IVORY COLOR) I bought these last summer and love them…. super soft, comfortable, versatile, and easy to toss on with just about any outfit. They were restocked this season in so many different color options. I wore them this past weekend with sweatpants and a cardigan but here are a few other transitional ways to wear them:

High waisted jeans + oversized sweater
High waisted jeans, fitted tee, and an oversized cardigan
High waisted jeans and an oversized sweatshirt
High waisted jeans, basic tee tucked in, shacket
Leggings, basic tee, sweater coat

SWEATSHIRT + SHORTS COMBO: Love this muted pink shade for spring + summer… and the shorts + sweatshirt combo makes it great for casual everyday life and lounging. Of course, shorts might not be an option for a while in some places, but both pieces are versatile enough to mix and match with items already in your closet (namely the sweatshirt). A few ways to wear them, together or separate:

Together with sneakers + a denim jacket
Together with sneakers + a shirt jacket
Together with slides + a sweater coat
Sweatshirt with jeans + a sweater coat
Sweatshirt with white joggers
Sweatshirt with leggings, sneakers, and a shirt jacket

MILITARY SHIRT JACKET: I’m loving this shade and style for spring and summer…. another versatile addition to any closet. Here are a few ways to wear it, similar to above mentioned suggestions:

Grey joggers + pullover with sneakers
Black leggings, black henley, sneakers
White joggers + pullover with low key slides or sneakers
Jeans, white seamless ribbed top (see below), sneakers (or mules)
White jeans, white sweatshirt, sneakers (or mules/sandals)

SEAMLESS RIBBED TOP: I saw this top a few weeks ago and eventually decided to purchase it, since I loved the ribbed detailing and knew it would work in nicely with items I already own. It’s literally seamless and is fitted but not so tight it looks like it doesn’t fit…. with a great stretchy fabric. I wore it last weekend, but here are a few other styling ideas I have:

Sweatpants, cardigan, slides (or sneakers)
Jeans, sweater coat, sneakers
Leggings, oversized denim jacket, sneakers

KNIT PULLOVER: I love the color of this sweater. I’m not sure what the actual color would look like in person, but assuming it’s as pastel/muted as it appears online, I think it could easily be a great addition of color to any wardrobe.

Jeans, sweater coat, mules

WOVEN CAP: I always love tossing on a baseball cap when I head on walks with the girls, or when I’m on day 5-6 of unwashed hair… and I love the texture of this one (Hat attack has a lot of great options). You can literally wear this cap with any outfit I’ve listed so far!

PLAID RAINCOAT: I’ve had my eye on this coat for a while now… I love that it’s a dressed up raincoat… and the plaid print adds a nice addition of color, while still being neutral. Here are a few ideas:

All black outfit and sneakers
White joggers, white sweatshirt, and sneakers
Jeans, seamless ribbed top, and sneakers
Grey joggers, grey pullover, sneakers
Black jeans, white sweatshirt, sneakers

CASHMERE SWEATER TEE: I ended up purchasing this sweater tee because it looks like it would be such a great basic…. I don’t have it yet, so I can’t say how it fits or attest to the quality, but here is how I think it can be worn….

Black leggings, leather jacket, sneakers
White joggers, sneakers
Black leggings, black denim jacket, sneakers
Grey joggers, sneakers, tan shacket
