Up until last week TJ + I were left with the hard decision of whether or not we send Harper back to school come September. We went back and forth weighing out the pros and cons of the situation. Ultimately, the decision was made for us, since almost all of California schools are adopting the “distance learning” model for the fall semester. With that decision made for us, we now need to figure out how we structure Harper’s days…
And while the exact details of how we do that remain a little nebulous, I do know one thing and that’s that I will need some help. I’ve already asked for help from my mom for help in this endeavor, and she happily agreed (aren’t moms great??). She and I have started talking about ways we can work together to give Harper opportunities for educational growth, as well as personal + interpersonal growth. More details on that to come as we work on figuring it all out (luckily we have several weeks)…
In the meantime, I do know that Harper’s wardrobe can be whatever her little heart desires for this upcoming fall semester. Since most activities will be at home, my parent’s house, or an open field for recreation, we’re looking at comfort + practicality…
And for all things back to school, Walmart has us completely covered. Whether it’s supplies for an art activity, items for recreational play (loving this collapsable tunnel), or comfortable home school clothing attire they have it all… with great prices, fast shipping, and on-trend fashions. Harper and I perused the site last week and it was super easy to navigate… we were able to narrow our search down to her specific age range, and in addition to some cute clothing pieces we picked up some supplies as well… like this workbook that helps her learn to write, cute leopard backpack for going back and forth between our house + my parent’s, numbers matching game, and colored pencils for some arts + crafts. However you’re going back to school this year, be sure to check out Walmart’s selection.
I also included a fun collage of some cute pieces Harper selected!
