This past weekend TJ and I headed up to Carmel for some R&R. The weather was cool (okay, high 50’s, low 60’s) so I decided to pack my favorite transitional piece: The Trench Coat (last written about here, transitioning into winter). I love the lines of a trench coat and the sophistication it seemingly adds to any outfit. Running errands? Toss it on with classic black leggings and a casual tee, and you look perfectly polished. A night out on the town? A nice flared jean, fabulous heels, and a flowing blouse pull the look together. Or, for a day of walking around a sleepy beachside town (ahem, Carmel)? White skinnies, a light weight sweater, and casual flats feels effortless and chic.
