One of my favorite holiday movies is “4 Christmases.” It’s pretty much an amazing trifecta of comedy, RomCom, + drama all mixed into one two hour reel (if you haven’t seen it, you must). Vince Vaughn + Reese Witherspoon (I mean, can you get any better than those two??) head out for 4 different Christmas celebrations between their families. Can you say exhausting?… but in all honesty, not that rare these days…. I’ve talked to so many different people in the past week who go to 3-4 Thanksgivings every year….

So, if the comfy + casual nature of look one isn’t going to fit the bill for your Thanksgiving holiday, might I suggest today’s look? It’s a pretty neutral option, and is a little on the dressier side with the over the knee boots and faux fur stole option. If you’re heading to some homes that are dressy and others that lean toward the casual side, this look will work for you…. and here’s why. If you want it to be a tad more casual, simply remove the stole and you’re left with one adorable ruffle hem top (and sleeve for that matter) and a killer pair of boots. Then toss it back on when you head to another house. Pretty simple, pretty comfortable, and pretty chic. Another trifecta I can get behind….

A few other ruffle hem options that I am liking include this bell sleeve top (I love the v-neck and simple shape), this sweater which comes in so many different color options, this gorgeous textured blouse, and this  comfy cable knit with tiered sleeves.
