I have typically always been a jeans (I’ll take them skinny or flared please), skirt, or dress type of girl when it comes to date nights. Lately though, I’ve really been loving these black track pants I picked up at Forever 21 forever ago. I was hesitant to wear them and they actually sat in my closet for about 5 months before I was bold enough to rock them! You see, I thought that they looked a little like pajama pants (they felt too comfy to be anything else!)… or like their name, track pants (and that’s really not the vibe I wanted to send on date night….). The first time I was bold enough to pull them out was for Allison’s birthday dinner and I LOVED them… I could indulge a little extra and really not feel it at all. Okay, that aside, they exude a casual, classic, feminine aura that I am loving! I’ve paired them with strapy sandals and a pink blouse for the office, as well as gold flat sandals and a cotton white tank for more casual outings (lunch with friends). So, when I was getting ready for date night last weekend, I knew that turning to my track pants would make me feel just the way I wanted to: Causal yet femininely chic!
