Wellness Wednesday || Delicious Overnight Oats- A Major Time Saver

Well, the little ladies are down, I’m about 30 minutes away from going to bed myself…. and just prepared this super quick + tasty overnight oats bowl for breakfast tomorrow morning. At this point, I’m all about saving time when I can… and making life more streamlined… and having a breakfast that’s clean, delicious, and ready for me when I wake up is just one way that makes the morning routine run a little more smoothly. Since making breakfast typically takes about 15 minutes, eliminating that in the morning gives me time back that I can use to put on a little makeup…. go for a quick morning walk… or even sleep a tad longer. So, last week when I decided to head out to meet with some friends I knew that I would need to be efficient with my morning routine if I wanted to get out of the house feeling remotely pulled together + sanity intact. Enter this overnight oats concoction… when it was time for breakfast I pulled it out of the refrigerator, topped it with some strawberries I’d already cut for little miss, and crumbled some Perfect Bar on top. The end result was amazing…. so I thought I’d share it with you today, in case you’re looking for a new healthy dish in a time crunch….

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup + 2 tbsp of Oatmeal (I use Bob’s Red Mill)
1/2 cup of Oat Milk
2 tsp of Chia Seeds
2 tsp of Coconut Sugar
Dollop of Nut Butter (I’ve been using this Peanut Butter)

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well together. If it looks too soupy, add in a few more oats to give it a thicker consistency. Cover and place in refrigerator overnight.

If you try it, I hope you love it as much as I have been!
