It’s hard to believe that we just had our last official weekend of the summer season.

Summer is always one of my favorite times of the year… the longer days, the smell of sunscreen permeating the air, living in sandals and coverups, feeling the warmth of the sun daily… and while I’m typically rushing in fall, this year I’ve found myself clinging to the last vestiges of the summer season.

So to send summer off we spent it with a couple of lunches by the beach, hanging by the pool (even on the gloomy Sunday…) and stretching out the swimsuits a little bit more (at this point, the girls’ suits are ready to be retired, haha)….

And now, here we are, the first day of fall. A new season, with traditions and activities I’m excited to experience again… from the simple things like switching out my summer tablecloth to our more fall-ish one, to our annual fall trip with the family to Park City. As much as I’ll miss summer, I’m excited to see what’s in store for fall.

With that, I hope everyone has a wonderful start to the week… I have some fun fall content coming up this week… starting with a little recap of the past two weekends (since I didn’t get around to a WR last week).
