We had one of those rare weekends with absolutely nothing on the calendar, and it was wonderful. Saturday morning was slow, and each afternoon of the weekend ended in the pool, in an attempt to escape the first real heat wave of the summer season. There was a bit of planning for our upcoming trip, Pinteresting out potential garage renovation plans (which, tbh, excited me much more than it should have… welcome to adulthood), and relaxing evenings spent by the fire-pit.

There might be nothing I love more than a slow summer weekend.

And now here we are, at the start of a new week. I’ll have styled outfits from June/July’s capsule wardrobe coming Wednesday and then Thursday I’ll have my quarterly book review (if you’re looking for a good book, you won’t want to miss this one… I highly recommend 5/6 of the books I read).

In the meantime, I hope everyone has a wonderful beginning of their week.

H+M has some adorable new arrivals for the girls… I bought the girls this black and white (as well as white and black) contrast dress, polka dot sundress, striped sun dress, and this gauze top and skirt set.

Love this black and white linen dress, red bubble dress, and red knit dress from Mango. So cute for summer!

I also love this ivory drop waist dress… would be so beautiful with gold accessories and barely there sandals…

For the 4th, these red biker shorts and top are perfect for a morning parade… top it with this red and white stripe pullover (own and love it… such a great lightweight pullover).
