WEEKEND SNAPS

The first full summer week, and weekend, spent at home didn’t disappoint. It was filled with lots of celebrations, time spent by the pool, delicious food (maybe the best of the summer so far… the homemade lobster tacos topping the list), and long hours spent outside in the sun (which I truly appreciated since June can be very gloomy here in CA).

And with this being the last week of the girls being in summer camp, I’m determined to attack the to-do list with full force. Starting with June/July’s combo capsule wardrobe, along with styled outfits…. which should coincide nicely with the summer solstice…

With that, I hope everyone has a wonderful start to the week ahead!

(Checked out the glow up at Javier’s for a Friday daytime date… top, shorts, flats)

(Nothing beats a Friday night at home, IMO…)

(Kept it casual and easy for a Saturday BBQ + Swim Party… shorts, top, suit, hat)

(A delicious Father’s Day breakfast at Zinque… jeans, tank, sweater, sandals)

(And a relaxing Sunday poolside…)

SHOPBOP has some cute new summer arrivals under $150… like this striped tank, peplum strapless top, pearl strand straw hat, red workout shorts + matching tank, and this textured cuff bracelet.

This $55 pearl studded straw bag is also so cute for summer….

I love Varley’s new summer drop… this open knit dress is so beautiful and easy for the summer season, and this romper is great for a super casual summer day or travels…

I found this ivory back cut-out hybrid dress… easy to dress up or down… and think it would be great for travels this summer season. Under $100 and the color is perfect.

How cute are these barely-there jelly sandals? They would be a great sandal for travels since they would work perfectly for the beach/pool and would be easy to dress up….

I just got this $25 white and black contrast tank and it’s such a chic summer basic.
