The end of a weekend inevitably lends itself to the start of a new week (seems to be the never ending cycle…)… which for me, ended up starting in true “Manic Monday” form. After waking up twice throughout the night with Camille, for various reasons, my alarm finally went off… I pulled myself out of bed, got in a nice workout, and then, while I was prepping the girls’ lunches, received a text confirming a design meeting for 9am… that I actually had on my schedule for Wednesday morning (not sure how I got that one confused…). Rushed to finish up helping the girls, and knew in order to make the apt in time (#traffic) I’d need to leave pretty quickly after school drop off… quickly did my make-up, laid out what I’d change into, and headed out the door….
I got within 5 minutes of my meeting spot, when it was canceled. I decided to just head to the coffee shop anyway and enjoy one of my favorite white teas while decompressing from the morning. And it turned out to be quite a nice way to start the second half of the morning (it’s all about “starting” over in my book…).
All that to say, there was no easing into the week over here… but it’s a short one for us, culminating in the Halloween holiday… so I’m looking forward to the fun at the end!
I hope everyone else had a better start to their week!
_____
(Started the week with another quick drive up the coast to Santa Barbara… jacket, pants, sneakers)

(Festive Friday breakfast-lunch in chocolate brown… pants, tee, sneakers, bag)

(The Little Greek for dinner before a fun night at the flag football field… love watching the sportsmanship these girls show…)

(Morning walk to a casual family lunch…. sweatshirt trench, top, leggings)

(Fun Saturday night of pumpkin carving with friends… pants, sweatshirt, sneakers)
_______
Love the look of a sheer button down for a date night or holiday look… I found this black blouse and this tan blouse… both currently in my cart as I decide…
I found my favorite chocolate brown lace camisole fully in stock!
Also back in stock, my go-to brown adidas spezial sneakers.
Annnd, if you’ve had your eyes on these wide leg pants (I have them in multiple colors, don’t stretch or sag…) they were restocked in both the short and regular inseam options. They shrink slightly in length after a wash and dry, so at 5’1 1/2 I’ve been loving the regular length since it hits the floor (my preference).
One of my favorite soft sweatshirts came out in a beautiful grey color… I go up a size in this one for a looser fit.
