As I mentioned on Friday, we headed out to Palm Springs for the long weekend. It had been 5 years since we’d spent any significant time in the desert area, and I forgot how beautiful it was. The weekend was spent swimming, catching up, and making fun memories with our families… and when it was time to come home, we had some tired little ladies in the backseat… and tired parents in the front (haha).
And now here we are, Monday morning, with the last week of school ahead of us…. summer is right around the corner, and I can sense that everyone in this household is ready for it… but first, we need to work our way through all of the end of the year activities and celebrations!
With that, I hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead! I’m hoping to have a “Euro Vacation Capsule Wardrobe” up this week (but, this can work for any “sightseeing” vacation you have, this destination was just highly requested)….
_____
(An easy travel outfit for a quick drive out to the desert… shorts, sweater, sandals)

The girls’ last day of school is this week and we’re heading to Cabo. With the end of year activities going on this week, I’ve already laid out what I’m packing, most of which I’ve taken on previous trips:
This floal dress that I took along with me to Playa Del Carmen (so comfortable)
Red ribbed dress I took to Palm Springs
This black and white dress (love how flowy it is… also have the longer version and trying to decide which one to keep)
These pink and orange floral shorts + eyelet beaded dress (another couple of pieces from Playa Del Carmen)
Linen Crop top to wear with the shorts above, these linen shorts, and this satin maxi skirt
Then this white two piece top + bottom, striped one piece, black and white top and bottoms, and this black and white one cut-out one piece
And for cover-ups I’m packing this white caftan, white crochet dress (which I can also wear with a fitted slip as a dress for dinner, and sarong (a favorite from last year as well).
If you’re in the market for new running shorts, I can’t recommend this pair more. I own them in black and the blue.
I also love the look of these black and white striped drawstring pants, which are on sale. They would be such a great summer pant.
