We started last week with an unexpected ten hour visit to the ER, which resulted in a long night (morning?? whatever you consider arriving home at 4am to be…), and one sweet little lady with a broken arm and a newly donned cast. The rest of the week involved making adjustments to our routine to accommodate different needs, so Friday was a very welcome sight (especially with it being the start of a three day weekend).

Given the activity of the week, we had a nice balance of get togethers with friends and family, and then time where we were able to just lounge around. Typically how I like it.

And now that we’re upon a new week ahead, I make no guarantees as to what I’ll be able to get up since I have no clue what the week will throw at me (haha). Crossing my fingers for September’s capsule. Stay tuned and I hope you have a wonderful start to the week!

Now that we’re on the other side of Labor Day, I feel comfortable using the word fall (although, I do recognize summer still has 3 weeks)….
