The weekend that unofficially marks the beginning of summer was just what we needed: zero plans, no agenda, and several days just sitting by a pool with family. We visited a summertime favorite, The iconic Shake Shack, walked by the beach, lounged in the pool, had a great family BBQ and really didn’t do much.

And now here we are, a mere 2.5 days away from the last day of school. I say this all the time, but it literally feels like yesterday we were walking the girls up for their first day of school. Is it just me, or does time simply move faster the older everyone gets? I can’t even imagine what senior year will feel like…

All of that aside, we’re doing all those end of year things, prepping for summer, and onto a new, albeit short, week ahead.

Loving small gingham prints for summer. A few cuties I found include this tank dress (could be dressed up or down), linen pants in a sand color (along with the shorts), and this cute low back linen dress.

We have some travels coming up this summer, and aside from my favorite lightweight summer travel pants, I also have my eye on this wide leg travel pant and top set.
