After being out of our rhythms and routines during spring break, it felt both simultaneously great to return to them last Monday, but was also a bit of a shock to the system when the alarm went off at 5:30am. And while we worked to settle back into real life, both TJ and I were battling colds… so while I intended to pop back in earlier than today, it just wasn’t happening last week.

So as we headed into this past weekend, it felt wonderful to have a fairly open couple of days…. we enjoyed a family hike by the beach and then a full Sunday spent spring cleaning all the things that were in desperate need of it… like the refrigerator, miscellaneous drawers, along with the usual Sunday sheet cleaning.

And with that, I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, and start to the week ahead. I have April’s capsule and a recap of our trip to Punta Mita planned for the coming days.
