We had a fairly low key weekend, celebrating my mom’s 70th birthday, and the dads in our life. It was spent with family, outside, around the pool… and we snuck in a daytime date on Friday afternoon since TJ had the day off… and for some reason, longer weekends always end up going by way too fast, leaving me less than enthused about the week ahead…

So I made a list of small things that I am looking forward to as we embark upon a new week….

Jack Johnson releases a new album at the end of the week… it’s been so long since he’s released anything new…
Sunny afternoons by the pool, right before dinner
Finishing a new Lisa Jewell book… as always, there are so many twists and turns…

And with that, I hope you all find a small list of things that excite you as we head into a new week ahead!

(Started the weekend on Friday with a daytime date with TJ… headed to Nobu sushi… top, jeans, bag, disc necklace + tennis necklace (both 10% off with code SHANNON10 for June), TJ’s Top)

(Then celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday with our immediate family)

(Spent all day Saturday outside by the pool in our new rafts…. and this has to be one of my favorite sunscreens… leaves the most beautiful glow on the skin… suit, cover-up)

(Cleaned up this outdoor space by the patio and sat by it for the first time this season after the girls went down… comfy lounge shorts and top (seriously so soft), glasses, patio set)

(Celebrated this guy, and my dad, with a BBQ breakfast outside (our favorite breakfast burritos) and a pool day… we had so much fun we didn’t really snap any photos!)
