We were eagerly anticipating this past weekend, as we’d had it marked on the calendar for several weeks that it would be our inaugural dip in the pool (we had to wait several weeks from completion before we could heat it…). And the weekend didn’t disappoint. Friday evening, all day Saturday, and starting late afternoon Sunday (winds were pretty bad in the morning) we found ourselves lathered in sunscreen, swimsuits on, and swimming in the pool…. we made memories, had lots of laughs, watched Harper perform 100’s of “tricks,” took Camille on “flamingo rides,” had two very tired little ladies at the end of both days, and broke in the pool the best way we knew how….

And as we sat in the spa early Sunday evening TJ dubbed this past weekend “the best weekend of the past year.” I’d have to agree.

(Friday bubbles to kick off the weekend- jumpsuit)

(Spent the weekend by the pool, breaking it in! towels, fire pit, flamingo raft, coverup top, coverup pants)

(Worked out on the pool deck to get in a little sweat and vitamin D… leggings, tank, bangles)

(Then transitioned the leggings for a trip to the store for our favorite pico de gallo…. sweater coat, tee, slides, chain necklace, herringbone necklace)

(Ended the weekend with our favorite grilled halibut tacos….)

Some spring shoes that I’m loving right now include these puffer slides, cute nude slides, these slide sandals which would be a great option for a casual date night (very similar to the puffer slides), block heel raffia sandals, and these mules. and these pointed toe woven mules.

Lou + Grey restocked my go-to soft grey half-zip… and came out with the prettiest ivory shade in their signature soft joggers + pullover….

One of my favorite pairs of high waisted cut offs came out in a lighter wash… I have these in my cart for the spring/summer. And one of my favorite tanks came out in a cafe/nude shade which I think is so pretty.

We’re adding a built in BBQ outside, along with with a covered pergola. I have my eye on these dining chairs (I’ve wanted them for a while, but they were out of stock two seasons ago) and these counter-stools for the BBQ.
