We headed up to Santa Barbara last weekend for the weekend… a spot we haven’t been back to since Jan. 2019. We had all of our favorites on the agenda, and the weekend didn’t disappoint. We enjoyed quality family time exploring at the zoo, riding the surrey bikes, and watching the sunset on the beach. It was hard to say goodbye to such a beautiful little town, but always grateful for the home we have to come back to. I’m going to share a few favorite spots below, in case you’re considering a trip to the area…
But before I share, I wanted to include a link to a page that provides multiple different resources on ways to help out Ukraine. Save The Children also provides humanitarian care to areas in need.
FAVORITE SANTA BARBARA DINIING SPOTS
D’Aneglos (breakfast)
Boathouse at Hendry’s Beach (right on the water)

Jeannine’s Bakery (great for breakfast)

The Lark (we like it for dinner… bot with children though)

Handlebar Coffee Roasters

The Rosewood
The Ritz
The Canary
The Hilton Waterfront
FAVORITE ACTIVITIES WITH KIDDOS
The Beach
Ride Surreys (touristy, but so fun…)

_________
(Friday’s travel outfit… joggers, sweatshirt, sneakers)
(Headed to Hendry’s Boathouse for a sunset dinner… so beautiful… swapped out my joggers with white denim… sweater coat)
(Breakfast on the beach (Hendry’s again) for a day of fun at the zoo….)
(Spent the morning at the zoo checking out the Australian walk around exhibit, feeding the giraffes, and exploring the other animals… jacket, top, jeans)
(Then a little pizza and rosé for lunch at Margerum… press on nails)
(And then we did this… always fun for everyone and ends up with lots of good laughs… and a workout!)
(Then headed to the beach (in front of Hendry’s) for the sunset… and picked up some to-go adult libations from the restaurant.)
(One last quick stop at Butterfly beach before heading home… jumpsuit, cardigan (another option), bag)
______________
Harper’s spring break is in a few weeks, and we have a trip to Hawaii planned (we’ve canceled the last 3 trips we’ve had… hoping 3rd time is a charm with this one…) but I have a few new things in my cart for the trip (and taking some favorite items I already own…):
this pink one piece suit…
cut out white dress…
raffia sunglass chain
and this jumpsuit…
I love this denim jumpsuit… I ended up purchasing it this past week and can’t wait to wear it with the items I already own in my wardrobe… easy to dress up or down. I shared a couple ways to style it here…
This Varley half zip was restocked in the charcoal grey color… a great spring layer!
Love these light-spun pull-on shorts… would be so great for the warmer seasons or a tropical vacation…
