Our weekends have been so simple lately. We mainly spend our times between my parent’s pool, our outdoor space, having good food, a few libations, and catching up on everything the week distracted us from. It’s a much simpler summer than those in the past, but it’s also much less complicated… weekends aren’t jammed packed with little room for rest… wardrobes consist mainly of a bathing suit, cover-up, and some sort of loungewear… and the amount of times spent as a family are much greater…. So I guess when we leave one thing behind for a period in life (hustle + bustle), we often gain something else much more valuable in its place (time with family).
