It felt as if for the entire month of July we had plans every weekend. If we weren’t out of town, we had birthday celebrations or other plans that occupied our weekends. So as we went into this past weekend it was so nice to have a completely empty calendar (and honestly, I try to keep our weekends fairly open… so having more than one commitment is a lot for us… haha) to just chill. We finished a few things around the house… started to assemble a piece of furniture we’ve had for a couple of months… spent time at the pool… watched the Olympics… and sort of just hang. And as we head into our last full week of “summer vacation” (Harper is back to school next week) I plan on soaking in a relatively empty calendar… because I know that from next week on it will be go go go during the week.

I purchased this snake chain necklace at the Nordstrom sale, but it sold out so quickly. I found it in stock here though (but not on sale).

I purchased a few items for back to school for the girl’s from the Nordstrom sale… this tiered tulle dress, ruffle dress (they have this in another print and it’s so soft), and this tiered sun dress…. they also own these jeggings and joggers… but it will be a while before they can actually where them comfortably in So. Cal.

This tie back linen top and this cropped silky button down are so cute for end of summer…. and these woven leather mules are super cute for summer and fall….

I just purchased these butterscotch slim fitting joggers… thinking they will be good for fall too…

This one shoulder jersey bodysuit is so chic and I love all of CAMI NYC camisoles… so beautiful.

These leopard leggings, that I purchased back in February, are 40% off… they’re super soft, high waisted, and work for any workout.

Serena + Lily is having 25% off all lighting… the pendant light in our master bedroom, rattan flush-mount in our hallway and office, and the outdoor pendants we have are all included…
