After taking over a week off from our normal structure and routine of life, this past weekend was spent getting back into the groove. There was laundry to be done, a garage that desperately needed straightening up (is it a catch all for anyone else???), and other loose odds and ends that needed to be addressed. We fell back into a clean eating + working out groove… enjoyed time sitting in our backyard in the evenings + at the pool during the daytime… and made plans for the week ahead…

It’s crazy to think that this summer is officially over (as of tomorrow)… and as much as I can’t believe this time of the year has passed, I am looking forward to the fall season. It’s always a time filled with fun festivities and while I know that will look different this year, I can’t wait to find ways to make it special for our family (may or may not have gone a little wild with fun fall + Halloween decor….)…. and with each new season, I welcome new experiences and new beginnings. Sort of like a fresh start.

After taking about 11 days off from working out, it felt good to get back into the swing of things.
