This past several days reminded me of life pre-pandemic. We had an adventure at the aquarium with the girls, a fun date night out on Friday evening (almost forgot what it was like to put on some makeup and a fun outfit…), a wonderful family celebration for Mother’s Day on Saturday, and then a lazy Sunday by the pool once the May Grey weather cleared….
After our date night on Friday we came home and sat by the fireplace… in cozies with an oversized blanket and it reminded me of how much I truly do like being at home. While I’ve thoroughly missed lunches out, adventures with the girls, traveling, and date nights this past year really helped me to appreciate the slower pace of life and just being at home. So as we slowly ease back into a new normal, I do hope it’s well balanced… with time for adventure and play with time for rest and relaxation too.
I hope everyone had a good weekend and has a great week ahead…
(Took the girls on our first outing in forever to the Aquarium Of The Pacific… such a great time seeing their faces light up…. Shorts, half zip, sneakers)
(Friday casual… shorts, similar half zip, slides (more cute Freedom Moses sandals))
(Date night at Malibu Farms didn’t disappoint…. Skirt, top)
(Celebrated Mother’s Day a day earlier this year with personalized pizzas and family… my dress)
(Cozy tie-dye sweatshirt for a gloomy Sunday morning walk…. Bike shorts)

Everlane just released a summer version of their “track collection.” I received these shorts last week and they’re great (I have them in black)… if you liked the joggers, I recommend these! They also brought back one of my favorite summer tanks in some really beautiful colors…. and these sporty sandals are super cute.
I bought the girls some cute things for summer… these ribbed ruffle shorts + matching henley tanks for Camille… with these cute white sandals… and for Harper this cute muted leopard dress and this striped two piece set….
The tan two banded sandals I wear frequently were restocked! Very comfortable.
I think this little eyelet white top is so adorable for summer… and while I’m on the fence about the bucket hat trend, this neutral striped one has me wanting to try it…
