One of my favorite commercials from yesterday’s Super Bowl game had to be Bass Pro Shop’s first ever ad (during the Super Bowl). Its theme was “Get Back To Nature” and to me it just struck home. I’ll link it here for anyone who might want to rewatch it or maybe missed it, but it opened with a little boy, inside his house, playing in a tent… which couldn’t be closer to the truth for us with the girls. But my favorite line was:

“We need nature to help us heal and reconnect with the ones we love the most.”

We spent most of this weekend outside playing with the girls, and it’s amazing what happens when you’re outside, phones no where to be seen, and just focused on the present. In reflecting on the weekend, and with the little push of a simple Super Bowl ad (whoever did their marketing was spot on…) I’ve made it my goal to do more of that with the girls this week. So here’s to a week where we squeeze in a little more outdoor time whenever, however, we can. Have a good one everyone!

Increased my mileage by one mile on Friday’s morning run… trying to see if I want to train for another half marathon… thinking I’m going to go for it. I found this ribbed workout tank + these high waisted 7/8th leggings in desert dune (one of my favorite styles) which I think would be good for training purposes.

Since I haven’t gotten my hair done in about 6 months, I decided to give it a good at home treatment. My hairdresser uses Olaplex, so I bought their two bonding/repair products (no. 0 and no. 3) and used them Friday. Left my hair feeling so smooth. Hoping it helps to strengthen it!

If you’re looking for some warm weather items, Vitamin A (one of my favorite swim lines) has a beautiful new color in my go-to oversized linen coverup. Loving the pink color. This open knit cover-up sweater was also restocked.

A few beautiful new spring arrivals I’m loving include this pistachio colored oversized cardigan, tie front linen ruffle top (would be so cute with high waisted denim), tie dye maxi slip dress (would be cute with a denim jacket or suede jacket and sneakers), and these cotton sweat shorts + matching sweatshirt.

Madewell has some cute new pieces… this plaid rain coat is so chic and military shirt jacket are great lightweight layers.

My go-to Lou + Grey signature soft shorts were recently restocked… great to wear with the matching pullover when temps start to warm up.
