Weekend Recap || Low Key

(Sunny, and hot, weekend….)

After a relatively busy few weekends, it felt good to head into this past one with nothing much on the agenda…. we had sub 7am morning wake-ups, ate our way through the weekend, became a family that now owns 5 Halloween yard inflatables, and put the finishing touches on our Halloween costumes for this year (trying to have fun with the family Halloween costume themes until they both want to be something completely different…). We had a pretty significant heat wave and as we head into the week ahead are welcoming some rain and cooler temps…

And so while I don’t have much to share from this weekend… it felt good… and even though we didn’t do much, I’m sure we’ll be in bed by 9pm (and to think I used to find my parents strange for going to bed so early when I was growing up… we have become them, haha)….

I hope you all have a great week ahead!

__________

Madewell is having a sale, 20% off $100+ and 30% off $200 and I wanted to share the items I own and would recommend:

this flannel is super soft and an excellent lightweight layer for fall… it also has pockets, which I always appreciate…
this ribbed sweater cardigan, that I styled 6 ways here….
black chelsea booties… they have a cushioned in sole so they’re comfortable enough for all day wear…
quilted coat (I have it in the olive)… feels as if you’re wrapped in a blanket it’s so soft (I recommend sizing down)…
basic vintage tee
thicker herringbone necklace
tan leggings
trainer sneakers
and this ribbed half zip sweater (it’s lighter weight so a good base layer)

J.Crew is offering 40% off with code GOBIG….
the coatigan I recommend every season is included (I recommend sizing down)
this longer blush coatigan is also included… love the soft blush shade….
I also love this oversized cable open cardigan (also runs large….)
these hiking boots I wore throughout Park City…
and this white hoodie (which is on sale, plus an additional 50% off)….

And Hannah Anderson is having 40% off of everything. I purchased holiday pajamas for the girls…
including this pink halloween pair (Harper prefers to sleep in the dress version…)
and these Christmas pajamas
