My sister and I took the girls to the beach last week, and as I sat and watched little miss run around and laugh in the waves, I couldn’t help but remember that in three short weeks she will be heading into kindergarten. It’s hard to believe that she’s actually old enough for all day school… and that she’s growing up so fast. And so I resolved that for the next three weeks, we would soak in all that the rest of the summer season has to offer us (summer, as in “no school…” and an agenda… as far as I’m concerned, summer won’t be over until the end of September…)…. enjoying having “no agenda” and letting the days unfold, spending time outside exploring, and just creating small little memories before summer 2021 comes to a close (I also can’t even believe I’m talking about summer ending in July…)…
So here’s to a week ahead of soaking in the little moments and making memories where you can. I hope you all have a great week ahead!
________

(First long run on a Friday in almost 3 weeks… felt so good to get back into the running routine… shorts, tank)
(Celebrated my sister’s birthday Friday evening with an electric boat ride around the harbor… my dress (15% off with code JKJULY15), Slides (15% off with code SHANNON15), sister’s dress, my bag))

__________
A few cute, new items from Everlane include this linen button down top, espadrille flat sandals, workout onesie, and this flowy stripe jumpsuit…
These black pull on shorts are currently on sale… they’re such a comfortable throw on a go option for warm weather and super versatile as well…
I think this ruched cotton top would make such a pretty option for date night… as would this deep v linen top…
A few summer wedding dresses that I think would be great options include this camel slipdress, sleek open back black dress, floral dress, and this ruched dress is a good option for a really casual wedding.
The girls love their monthly KiwiCo crates and I’m thinking about getting them this giant bubble maker kit, science of cooking ice cream kit, and this cute Safari kit. I also think this chalkboard glow slime is cool for older kiddos.
