It’s never a bad weekend when the smell of sunscreen permeates the air, the swimsuits (albeit stretched out a tad from last season) get put on, and Jimmy Buffet’s “Duke’s On Sunday” plays on repeat in the background…. and that’s the sort of weekend it was for us.

One of my oldest friends and her family came down for a bbq and some swimming… and then on Sunday we had an impromptu BBQ with my family. It was a weekend filled with lots of time spent outside in the sun and heat, and then vegging on the couch in the evenings watching the Winter Olympics (ice skating is always a favorite over here)…. a slightly odd contrast when I actually sit down to think about it…

And as I was singing to Harper before she went to bed, she told me that it was “one of the best weekends,” which is always a reminder to me that sometimes the most simple of weekends, spent at home, can be the best.

I got these cross trainer slip on sneakers (in the grey) and they’re super comfortable!

Walmart’s new spring line for Free Assembly recently launched… I ordered this sweatshirt and jogger set in the pink and olive green.

I’ve been using this new line of all natural deodorant (free of aluminum, parabens, and synthetic fragrances) and it works so well! Smell is very subtle, and I’ve used it on my most rigorous workouts and there isn’t any stink after.

These puffer slides that I’ve had for two seasons were recently restocked. I’m a 6.5 and purchased the 7 and they fit perfectly…

We always get the girls a few little things for Valentine’s Day. This year we got them these cute swimsuits, do a dot art markers (Harper loves these), and this marker book to go with them.

Love this cut-out midi dress for a warm weather get-away… I also love this maxi gauze button down cover-up and this stripe two piece set… they’re all on my wish-list for a trip we just booked for March.
