{Love creating fun tags for all the gifts}
I always wish that I could bottle up the aura of Christmas. There is something in the air that I can never quite explain, no matter how many synonyms I search for. When I was younger it was all about Santa Clause and the mystery that surrounded him and his eight tiny reindeer (I would listen very closely every Christmas Eve to see if I could hear their tiny hooves landing on our rooftop). As I grow older, and unfortunately the truth about Santa is out, I am reminded of the spirit that encompasses the holiday season.
For us, it started with a beautiful Christmas Eve service where we were reminded that we are loved unconditionally, not because of what we do or don’t do. Beautiful music and a powerful message then lead into a special family Christmas Eve celebration. Morning traditions, evening traditions, laughs, and memories abounded as we gathered together to celebrate. And, having had difficulty sleeping the days leading up to Christmas, I slept like a baby for two straight evenings as Christmas night led into a post-Christmas lazy day lounging at my parent’s house (and an unplanned two day sleepover… aren’t those the best??). There is comfort in family. There is comfort in trust and love. I can’t help but hope that you all felt that in some way this holiday season!

I certainly indulged and am doing this week’s Women’s Health Challenge… join us, will you??
My favorite sale find post-Christmas HAS to be these OTK boots…
