As I reflected on last week’s weekend recap, and the “new normal” that I want us to have, it hit me, yesterday that Sunday needs to change. It’s typically a day, for me, that is filled with prepping for the week ahead. A “day of rest” is not on the agenda, and as of late I have found myself having the same “Sunday Scares” that I had years ago…..
How things shift and change to make that happen will be an evolving work in progress, but I think that’s the beautiful thing about making changes. It doesn’t have to be a straight line from point A to B. It can be a process of figuring out what works, and what doesn’t, to find the change you’re looking for.
So, we’ll see how this all plays out. All of that aside, I hope you’re all doing well as we head into week seven of the safe at home orders! Have a good week ahead!
(A little Friday evening happy hour dip…. shorts, swim top, pool, TJ’s swim shorts)

(Made our own backyard paradise with the summer heat…. Harper’s suit, girl’s lounge chair, our lounge chairs)

A few favorite items that are currently on sale include this u-neck basic tank (I bought it last summer and pulled it out this past week), these white gauze pants are 50% off (I’ve shared them several times before), this button front coverup (bought it last summer and it’s nice and lightweight… super versatile), and this beautiful puff sleeve top (obviously something for when we can go out and about).
With the heat that visited So. Cal last week, I was able to pull out some of my warm weather favorites… like these high waisted cut-off shorts, linen shorts (elastic waistband is great), cropped soft tee, these raffia sandals, and this scoop back one-piece.
Lou + Grey has added some great new signature soft pieces to their collection- perfect for summer + staying at home. Same material as the sweatsuit I always recommend…. their drawstring shorts, poncho (own both of those items and love them), sleek cami, and this henley top. So comfortable for spring + summer lounging.
Everlane has some comfortable basics that look perfect for this time period… like these relaxed chino pants (super chic + casual), easy chino shorts (I’m loving black), basic t-shirt dress (looks like an easy throw on and go over a swimsuit or with sneakers), linen crewneck sweater, and this linen puff sleeve top.
