Weekend Recap || All Things Holidays

It was 8pm last night and we were folding laundry + cleaning up the chaos from the day…. and I’ve been told that a messy house at the end of the day means happy kiddos… so if that’s the case, I certainly hope that means the girls had a wonderful weekend.

We spent it doing all things Christmas… seeing lights, a Santa zoom call (Harper was so beside herself everything she said she was going to say just couldn’t come out….), baking cookies, watching holiday movies, and even squeezed in a beach walk on Saturday morning…

And while CA just moved back into a strict lock down (similar to that back in March), I’m choosing to focus on what I have to be grateful for and signs of a good time… like laundry all over the place and a camera roll full of happy faces….

I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead!

(Been on a bit of a sushi kick as of late for our Friday evening take-out….)

(A view that will never get old….)

(Some Saturday morning salt air…. leggings, pullover, vest, baby carrier, Camille’s shoes, Camille’s sweatshirt)

(Harper was SO excited for this Zoom call with Santa!)

(Christmas jammies + Christmas donuts for Sunday morning….)

(Made a batch of our favorite peppermint chocolate chip cookies for Sunday dessert… they’re gluten + dairy free and a hit with everyone!)

(Sunday evening walk to our favorite Christmas house…)

_________

If you’re looking for a good gift for someone who loves fitness, these bala ankle/wrist weights are back in stock in several different colors. Super chic. I also love this Garmin watch (which is currently $100 off).

A few great home gifts that are currently 20-25% off include this Coravin (can’t recommend it enough, we’ve had ours for a year and it’s amazing), wine purifier (it’s supposed to remove sulfites + histamines = headache), and this towel warmer is an excellent gift for “someone who has everything…”

For someone who loves to cook + BBQ I recommend this BBQ glove (my dad and TJ both have one), these silicone airtight lids to cook with, beautiful linen dishtowels (with a bottle of wine), Our Place Always Pan (we’ve had ours since August and love it), shrimp grill pan (ordered this for two people I know), pizza oven for the BBQ (this is so cool), and Love + Lemons Cookbook (one of my favorites).

And if you’re looking for stocking stuffers for guys (no scarves or hats here…) I love this drone (TJ has one and plays with it all the time), whiskey ice wedges (I’d never seen these before), 3-1 brumate beverage cooler, and this Kiehl’s moisturizer + exfoliating wash set.

I am planning a full style post for this plaid shacket, but if you’ve been looking for one, I can’t recommend it more. It’s $49, lined with a t-shirt material so it’s super soft, and it has a great oversized fit while not being overwhelming. I’ll have it styled 5-6 ways next week!
