Well that weekend went quickly, anyone else agree? It was a fairly gloomy couple of days for us, weather wise, and Sunday brought a late morning rain shower, so we were particularly lazy. When 5pm rolled around TJ and I looked at each other and said simultaneously, “Where did the day go??”

I’ve chatted about it here over the past several weeks, but we’ve been easing back into life circa 2019…. finally got my hair done for the first time since September, took the girls back to the zoo (last time Camille went she was in a baby carrier), and went out for our first family dinner. So when Saturday morning was particularly gloomy, TJ + I started throwing out ideas of what we could do to get out of the house… but the thought of rushing around on Saturday morning just wasn’t as appealing to us as it once was, and we eventually decided to just hang at home.

It’s interesting to see how accustomed we’ve come to doing very little… and how even a small outing to the zoo is much more tiring than it once was. So while this period is a slow transition back to life outside the home, it’s also going to take some getting used to… but I’m also hoping we find ways to honor the slower paces, like we ultimately did on Saturday.

This pretty little white dress, that I bought last June, was recently restocked. It comes in petite and tall lengths (I have the petite) and I wear it without the tie belt for a looser, flowy, fit.

I bought this The Great shrunken, worn, sweatshirt back in February and just saw that it’s on sale… it’s a nice lightweight option for all seasons.

Thinking this seamless ribbed white tee would make a great summer option for the long sleeve one I wear all the time…
