{Our first breakfast outing as a family of three to Eat Chow}
I love when cooler weather settles itself in Southern California as it just begs for a lazy weekend. While I wouldn’t call our weekend lazy by any stretch of the imagination (I mean… we do have a 3 week old…) I did allow myself a few small naps, two relaxing evenings on the couch (with a glass of wine… thank goodness of that pump!!), and slower mornings. We ventured out for our first breakfast as a family of three and I discovered the pure joy of a baby wrap which enabled me to go hands free (I take small victories as they come!). I attempted to make a dent in my unread stack of magazines (which still date back to December) and was able to actually speak to some girlfriends live on the phone. I may even be so bold as to say that I think TJ and I are getting the hang of this parenting thing… but then again, I don’t want to jinx myself! But… I’ll take a good weekend, always! Hope you all had a great one… and a wonderful week ahead!

{Magazine and catalogue catching up}
This Sunday was a cold one, so we stayed in and had pizza. Some of my past favorite pizzas, which are always perfect for the weekend, include this loaded version (and perfect date night pairing), a fresh bruschetta take, and probably one of my favs with a sweet potato topping!
I’m loving casual leisure wear these days… so stay tuned for a post this week on a few favorites! Right now though, I’m loving these Valentine’s Day inspired pieces: This cozy heart sweater, feminine floral sleep shirt, and this pink pajama set. And, since lately it has been easiest to wear variations of neutrals, I’ve been eyeing this simple grey fringe cardigan, a classic stripe tee, this feminine pleated sweater (comes in two classic colors), silk blouse (that comes in 6 colors), this hat to cover up unwashed hair (which is commonplace these days!), and rose gold aviators to cover up tired eyes!
