{A little red and gold for holiday festivities}

I guess it’s only natural that the weekend before Christmas would end up being a busy one. Last week, after our appointment with the doctor, we were informed that our little one just might arrive earlier than her expected due date (but of course, how can one really be certain). So the days that followed were filled with final preparations in the off chance that she would arrive… and here we are, Monday morning… one “could it be contractions” evening on Friday (obviously it wasn’t), a few long walks (including inclines) over the weekend, and an early Christmas family dinner with those who will be out of town for the holiday… and our little one is still where she was last Sunday. The moral? No one can predict when a baby will arrive…. and I’m sure all you moms out there can attest to that fact!
