{Pretty clouds from the heat wave}
As California’s Indian Summer continued, TJ and I jetted out to Chicago for some fall weather and quality time. While we are still enjoying our time here, I’ve included a few small highlights from the trip 🙂 Growing up with a dad from Chicago meant it was only natural that I became an avid Chicago sports lover… Bulls, Bears, Cubs, White Sox, Blackhawks… you name them, and I’ve watched them over the years with my dad. It was always on my bucket-list (amongst other things… like visit Postiano Italy…) to be able to go to a Bears game at Soldier Field, so when the opportunity presented itself for this upcoming trip, we readily jumped on it. And let me just say, it didn’t disappoint. Don’t you just love it when your expectations and reality are in line?? We have a few more nights left on this trip, so for the next day I will relish in this fall weather and being unplugged from all things work! Have a great week everyone 🙂
{The first of the fall pumpkins}
{A boozy sno cone (without the booze) on our first night in Chi-town… it was a cold one!! Hat, top}
{Soldier Field for game-day, and a little onsie for baby Harper… we’re starting her loyalties early!}
{A noijto (get that??) at one of our fav spots in Chicago… Trump Tower}
Sine the indulging has been pretty high this trip, we’re still working out! Heading out for a run on the lake tomorrow morning, immediately following by this Women’s Health Weekend Challenge… because I did bring a backless top for dinner!
Some weekend favorites… and some items that ended up in my suitcase for the trip… include this amazingly soft shift dress (that comes in three perfect colors!), my trusted black nikes (which I bought for cross training, but just wear for everyday life!), black distressed skinny jeans, a transitional stripe body-con dress, and this burgundy sleeveless jacket.
